Introduction to the NuMicro® N9H series
The N9H series is based on the ARM926EJ-S core; the product series include N9H20, N9H26, and N9H30, and their execution speeds are 200 MHz, 264 MHz, and 300 MHz respectively. They can stack different capacities of DDRII SDRAM from 2 MB to 32MB, and this type of multi-chip package can reduce the PCB size significantly as well as reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI), shortening the vendor’s design stage and reducing the difficulty for designing.
In order to satisfy customer’s need for flexible design of display applications, the N9H series has built-in 24 bit TFT RGB interface, 2D graphics accelerator, and MJPG/H.264 video decoder; the maximum resolution supported is 1024x768 pixel display and resistive touch screen. They also have an abundance of peripherals including 2 to 11 sets of UART, SPI, I²C, SDIO/ eMMC, NAND Flash and USB 2.0 Host/Device, in which the temperature specification range of N9H20 and N9H26 is -20°C to 85°C, and N9H30 meets industrial-grade temperature specifications with a temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, satisfying the need for consumer products. The N9H series is particularly suitable for applications related to the LCD display, including human machine interface (HMI), home automation and industrial automation.
