Most users need to select a suitable flash with sufficient capacity. To assist with this, we've compiled a list of image sizes generated by Buildroot/Yocto/OpenWrt. Please note that this list is for reference only, as the actual size may vary depending on the packages installed.
The size of eMMC/SD images depends on the rootfs size, so they will be larger than NAND's and SPI-NAND's. For example, the "nvt-image-qt5" includes most of the Qt5 library, resulting in a size of up to 520MB

Buildroot – Default Configuration
SPI-NAND: 31 MB
eMMC/SD: 254 MB
NAND: 31 MB

OpenWrt - Default Configuration
SPI-NAND: 31 MB
eMMC/SD: 254 MB
NAND: 14 MB

Yocto – core-image-minimal
SPI-NAND: 45 MB
eMMC/SD: 97 MB
NAND: 45 MB

Yocto – nvt-image-qt5 (Including most Qt library and Gstreamer library)
