The external crystal (HXT) voltage of the M480 series and M451 series is different from the external clock source voltage. There are two specifications as described below:
The following table shows the specifications of the HXT voltage, which is an internal digital signal, independent of 0.7VDD.
M480 Series

M451 Series

The external clock source can be high level and low level according to the state of the I/O; thus, there is a limit of 0.3VDD and 0.7VDD.
The external clock source limits of the M480 series and M451 series are the same.
