What is the Continuous Counting Operation mode for Timer controller?

The Continuous Counting Operation mode means that the Timer will continuously count from zero to 2^24-1 and restart to zero again.
Each time the Timer interrupt event flag (TIF) is set by the hardware and the interrupt signal is generated when the value of 24-bit up-counting Timer counter matches the setting of TCMPR (Timer Compare Register).
