Nuvoton industrial automation solution consists of three parts: serial server, remote terminal unit, and human machine interface. Those three parts are based on the NUC970/980 series microprocessors. As a serial server, NUC980 enables the equipment to communicate with another subsystem on the Internet. As a remote terminal unit, NUC980 can receive/transfer the command from/to a control system through a wireless module. As a human machine interface, NUC972 displays real-time information in the field and can send control signals to equipment by a touch screen operation.
