NuMaker-emWin-M487
emWin is a high-quality graphics software function library; it is applicable for graphic LCD operation applications and can output high-quality texts and graphics, able to perform quick and highly efficient configurations for the designs of graphical user interfaces (GUI) for products such as portable health, fitness monitoring equipment, and smart accessories. Nuvoton’s NuMaker-emWin-M487 development platform uses Nuvoton’s microcontroller M480 series based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 core, with a maximum operating speed of 192 MHz; it supports connection to external SPI Flash through the high-speed SPI (96 MHz) interface, able to quickly read the GUI images used for human-machine display applications, and it can also save up to 32 MB of image data. The M480 series not only supports LCD screens with SPI interfaces, but it also provides the EBI (16-bit) interface to support i80 mode LCD interface needs; the maximum resolution of LCD screens can reach 320x240.
Nuvoton’s NuMaker-emWin-M487 development platform not only provides the NuMaker-PFM-M487D development boards for users to choose, but it also provides abundant software and hardware development kits, including software BSP packages, circuit schematics, PCB layout files, Gerber files, user manual, and BOM tables.

NuMaker-PFM-M487D development board features
• Microcontroller based on the Cortex-M4 core includes digital signal processing (DSP) and floating point unit (FPU); its core computing speed can reach as high as 192MHz.
• 4 MB SPI Flash and 1 MB SRAM
• 124 dB of SNR, dual-channel audio CODEC and headphone output interface
• USB2.0 full-speed OTG and USB2.0 high-speed OTG
• Supports SD card interface
• Supports 10/100 Mbps Ethernet (RJ-45 interface)
• 3.4 inch (320x240 resolution) LCD screen with 16-bit i80 interface
• 6-axis (gyro + accelerometer) MEMS

Nuvoton provides several reference application designs; the designs all used the emWin development kit as the graphical interface display of the human-machine. With Nuvoton’s NuMaker-emWin-M487 development platform and the use of the emWin software/hardware development kit, the development of embedded graphical interface applications becomes simple and fast.
