Booting NUC972 with TF(MicroSD) possible?

Hi,

I gathered that the NUC972 supports booting from an eMMC chip. I'm wondering if it is possible to boot a NUC972 with a TF card using the same pin connection as the eMMC? since the TF and eMMC are so close to each other sharing similar pinout and protocol. And a TF gives more flexibility. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Sir,
NUC972 can support eMMC boot. But It can't support the SD card (T-Flash) Boot .
If you want use the T-Flash boot , you can select NUC980 series .
NUC980 can support SPI NAND , SPI NOR , NAND , SD card booting.
