Re: BME680 sensor
Hi, If you look at the v1.3 PCB you can see that there is a space and the pads for the BME680. For some reason the PCB was not assembled with that part placed in position U7. So, it does not require a board revision from what I can see. Unless there are missing some I2C wire pull-up resistors, as I ...

Re: BME680 sensor
I guess I pose the question.
Are Nuvoton going to populate the M487 with U7, giving it the BME680 sensor capabilities?????
regards
Phil

Re: BME680 sensor
Silly me!
I misunderstood. There is no BME680 on the M487. I was confused by the schematic diagram that shows U7 is connected to the processor.
BUT, U7 does not exist on the NuMake_IoT_M487. The location is un-populated.
So, close this request for support.

BME680 sensor
Hi, I am trying to get the chip ID of the BME680 sensor on my NuMaker_IoT_M487 board using the hardwired I2C interface. I have tried both 7bit & 8bit addressing in a simple I2C C++ example. I cannot read the ID properly. I only get 0x00. What am I doing wrong, please? Code snippet: #include "mbed.h"...

Re: NuMaker-IoT-M487 PCB mounting holes
Dear Team,
Please can you advise how to mount the NuMaker-Iot-M487 on a chassis?
best regards
Phil Culverhouse (Plankton Analytics ltd.)

Re: Using the M487 as an OTG host
Thank you for your reply. I will use the Host sample code, but it requires updating from MBED 5. I will let you know when I get it running.
The controller is a Cyclo controller (ADC-48-450-U) from European Thermal Dynamics.

Using the M487 as an OTG host
I am trying to use the USB 1.1 interface to communicate with a temperature controller (ie. the M487 acting as a host) and I cannot get comms working. I am using the standard USBserial interface within Mbed 6. No joy. the target board does not respond. Any ideas what to do next? I have tested the cab...

Re: Initial forays into the Nuvoton environment.
I use the M487 within the Mbed 6 environment. Its workable. Sadly USB FS is not available, nor real-time debugging. But the code examples are useful. I am trying to use the FS USB interface to communicate with a temperature controller (ie. the M487 acting as a host) and I cannot get comms working. P...

NuMaker-IoT-M487 PCB mounting holes
Dear team, I have bought a NuMaker-Iot-M487 board for evaluation as a replacement for an Olimex STM32F407. I am enjoying using it and developing useful interfaces. I want to use this board in a new design of our high speed plankton imager as the main system controller. BUT, there are no mounting hol...
